In its virtual debut, The Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra, led by Maestro Guillermo Figueroa on violin, proudly presented the work Añoranza (Yearning), for string orchestra, by renowned Puerto Rican composer Ernesto Cordero last summer. In celebration of its exciting 37th season, the world premiere of this beautiful work was shared as a gift to The Symphony's loyal patrons and supporters. Also featuring poetry by local New Mexican poet, Tani Arness, and a special introduction by Ernesto Cordero himself, Añoranza embodies a beautiful message of longing and hope during these unprecedented times.
